Workshop Ladislav Sieger - Outdoor survival
"Everyone, who strikes off journeys to the wilderness, has to be aware of unexpected situations when something breaks down resulting that an individual will have to take care of the critical situation all by him/herself".
Teacher of physics at the CVUT University in Prague will convince the audience that it is good to know basic physical theories also for a survival in the snow bivouac. His workshop will teach the visitors how to bivouac with the simplest equipment, to cook in a thermos bottle and save fuel; moreover, he will reveal which fuels and stoves are the most suitable for outdoor stay and extreme conditions. Many of the effects will be demonstrated through his own experience from winter stays in Alaska.
